Juniorlexy conducts ‘Production Master Class’ for aspiring Ghanaian music producers
On Saturday, June 17, 2023, Alex Adu Appiah, widely known as Juniorlexy, fulfilled his dream by organizing his inaugural Master Class workshop for young Ghanaian music producers and sound engineers.
Designed for a select 5 individuals, the initiative attracted over 10 promising music producers and sound engineers, providing them with the invaluable opportunity to refine their craft with insights and guidance from established industry professionals.
Key topics covered in the workshop, held at Power Circle Music in East Legon, Accra, included essential musical tips such as developing ideas, instrument leveling, composition mixing, professional EQ techniques, mastering, and insights into music publishing and royalties.
Addressing the recent industry discussions about agreements between producers and musicians, participants were emphasized to establish clear and fair arrangements with the talents they collaborate with.
Surprisingly, award-winning producer Dr. Ray made a guest appearance, sharing insights on how his generation prioritized passion over business, leading to recent discord between artists and producers.
SIn the final segment, Juniorlexy personally addressed the participants, providing practical, in-depth knowledge about recording, mixing, and mastering.
